Dr. Kirshenbaum performed the first laparoscopic cholecystectomy in Colorado in 1989. Other firsts in Colorado: The first laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair, first laparoscopic ventral hernia repair, and the first laparoscopic anti-reflux repair. He has done over 10,000 laparoscopic procedures, and is certified by Allergan and Ethicon to place both the LAP-BAND® and the Realize Band™.
The team also includes our Nutritionist, Paula Peirce RD, PhD; Susan Silver PhD a Licensed Professional Counselor, who is also an experienced Lap-Band support group moderator, as well as our staff who are sensitive to your needs.
