April 19, 2006 changed my life forever.  This is the date of my Lap-Band® surgery.  My entire experience with Dr. Kirshenbaum and his staff has been nothing but positive.  There are no judgments placed upon you, no guilt that you don't have enough "will power", only a helping hand.

As of my 18 month anniversary, I was down to 249, 180 lbs gone and start weight at 429. I have lost 20 inches from my waist. I'm on the cusp of wearing a 2XL, I'm in a 54L suit down from a 66L. Life is good! I could never have imagined the incredible life changes that have happened to me since the surgery. You will never make a more important decision in your life!
