Excercise is an important part in helping you to reach your weight loss goal. Ensure that you are getting a minimum of 30 minutes of exercise per day but aim for 1 hour per day. Walking is one of the most common and perhaps the best form of exercise. If you have problems with your back, knees or hips think about swimming or water aerobics, you can also try an exercise bike.
During the first month after your surgery you do not want to do any type of excercise that can jepordize your surgery. You should refrain from things like ice skating, rollerblading or any type of exercise where you could experience a hard fall. Walking, exercise bikes and use of a treadmill are your best forms of exercise for the first month.
