I have been overweight most of my adult life, my highest weight being 403 lbs. I hit rock bottom about 2 years ago. I was 30 years old when my husband who was 32 died in an automobile accident. It hit me very quickly that I was a widow having to raise my daughter alone. I began to patch my broken heart with food. I felt I was at the end of my rope. I gave up on my insurance company paying for the Lap Band surgery and was about to pay 17K for the surgery with another doctor.
