The Mile High City has 17 percent less oxygen than cities at sea level, so don’t be surprised if you come to town and become breathless over more than the scenery. Shortness of breath, throbbing headaches and fatigue are just a few symptoms of altitude sickness. Fortunately, many people come and go symptom free. But if the elevation gets to you, here are a couple of tips. Once you arrive in Colorado slow down take a break and do not over exert yourself. Stay hydrated drink plenty of water prior and during your stay in Colorado.
We offer a unique setup for our out-of state patients with minimal office visits prior to scheduling your surgery. The process includes a telephone consultation with the doctor and one with the nutritionist. We require our out-of state patients to stay a total of three nights (the day of the pre-op, the night of surgery and one additonal night).
Our office is located approximately 25 minutes or 20 miles South/West of Denver International Airport. Our office address is 1411 S Potomac, Suite 340, Aurora, Colorado 80012.
